Stay informed about when to review and update your insurance — these annual windows are your opportunity to make sure your coverage still fits your needs.
Annual Enrollment Period (Medicare)
October 15 – December 7
This period is for Medicare beneficiaries to review, update, or change their Medicare Advantage (Part C) or Part D prescription drug plans. Coverage options, provider networks, and drug formularies can change from year to year, so it’s important to take time to review your current plan.
👉 We recommend at a minimum reviewing your provider list and prescription drug coverage during this time.
Open Enrollment Period (Under 65 ACA Plans)
November 1 – December 15
This applies to individuals under age 65 who get coverage through the Marketplace (HealthCare.gov). During this window, you can:
- Review your current health plan
- Update important household info (like income or tax dependents)
- Enroll in a new plan or make changes to your existing coverage
Even if nothing has changed, it’s still a good idea to double-check your plan details — premiums and benefits may adjust each year.
